Anyone for Anya - Sketch Challenge for May

Gee I don't know how I managed a card this week and I must admit that I threw this one together as I have been sooo busy.

It was my daughter's 10th birthday Thursday just gone and we have barely had a break between family and friends visiting to pass on their birthday wishes.....although it has been great to catch up with everyone I am glad it is all over.

Thanks to everyone that stopped by!

One for My Girl!

We are already a couple of weeks in our 'One for the Girls' Challenge at Mad for Markers and my card is for my daughter who is turning the big 10 on this coming Thursday.  This will be a sad but happy day...she will be into those double digits; not sure where the time with my baby has gone!

I should tell you that this card nearly didn't get finished as during the process of making it I spilled a full cup of tea all over my craft desk and to some miracle the card was the only thing that did not wear it!

Also my daughter is always telling me to "stop putting things on it or you'll ruin it" so I have not gone overboard with the flowers and embellies on this one!

Ranunculus Fields of Orange

Well there is only a matter of hours left for you to enter the Mad for Markers Autumn challenge and as this is my last Inspiration card for this challenge I have decided to use one of my favourite Stampendous stamps called 'Ranunculus Fields'.

I have a confession that I spent a lot of time shading and blending the flowers...then I just covered it with stickles!  My efforts are now not visible :-(

Oh and I scrap lifted this design from somewhere...and I love it. I wish I could remember where so I can give them the credit they deserve!!
